Terms of Use
Machiya Stay Kyo Miyabi (the hotel) hereby provides the terms of use of our hotel for our guests to use in a safe
and comfortable manner and seek your cooperation. If our guests do not comply with the terms we shall refuse
accommodation. We appreciate your kind understanding.
1. Applicable range
The terms of use shall apply to all of the guests staying at our hotel. However, for any matters not stipulated
herein, we shall apply the terms of our Accommodation Clause.
2. Fire prevention and security
Our hotel adopts a non-smoking policy throughout the facilities. Please use the designated outside smoking area
only. Please do not smoke on the street in front of our hotel.
3. Handling of deposits and lost articles
We shall handle lost and found articles in accordance with the relevant law (Lost Goods Law).
4. Our hotel facilities
Use of the Internet

Our guests can freely use our hotel internet system, but we prohibit any viewing contrary to public
order and morality.

Wireless LAN is provided as part of our service but it does not necessarily guarantee 100% connection to the
Internet connection.

Connection may be slowed down or interrupted due to customers device setup or congestion of the network.

Our hotel does not provide any support for a guest's PC or various setup of communication devices.

Security of a guest's communication devices, such as protection and management, shall be entirely the
responsibility of the guest.
5. Guests' behavior
Guests staying at our hotel must behave based on our hotel staff members' instructions. If you do not comply with
these terms, we may have you removed from our hotel.
Entering and leaving our hotel shall only be possible for guests who have concluded the relevant agreements.
Our hotel adopts a non-smoking policy throughout the facilities. Please use the designated outside smoking area. The
street in front of the hotel is also a non-smoking area.
Rubbish generated in guest rooms must be disposed of to the designated place and separated based on our
instructions.
Guests who had alcoholic drinks at our hotel shall be prohibited to drive cars or bicycles.
Guests must not bring into our hotel any hazardous materials or illegal goods.
Our hotel does not have a closing or lights-out time but please exercise moderation in your behavior in order not to
cause a nuisance to any neighbors.
6. Responsibilities
Our hotel shall not be held responsible for any troubles occurred in relation to our guests. Any troubles must be
resolved by the related parties only.
7. Other prohibited matters
Gambling or any acts that corrupt public morals
Loud voice, singing, or noisy behavior in our hotel that may cause disturbance to any neighbor
Extremely dirty body or clothing that may cause disturbance to any neighbour or damage our hotel
Use of our hotel room for purposes other than accommodation or to eat/drink without our hotel's permission
Bringing in animals, luggage, or belongings as follows.

Animals, e.g. dogs, cats, birds and all types of pets (excluding guide/service dogs)

Explosives/volatile oils, hazardous goods, goods with a bad smell, and other goods that are banned by law etc.
and acts that alter the state of our hotel facilities, e.g. damage our facilities, goods, or attach foreign
materials thereon, or move or take out our goods to other places without permission etc. Advertising,
distribution of publicity materials, displays, sales of goods, solicitation, conduct of business, distribution
of inserts or signature campaigns, etc. in our hotel without our permission. To publicize photos taken in our
hotel for business purposes without our permission. Any other acts that our hotel deems inappropriate.

8. Data protection
It is prohibited for a third party other than our hotel to use "Machiya Stay Kyo Miyabi", our hotel name.
Our hotel is categorized as a public lodging house and operated based on the hotel business operating
permission.
Personal data registered at the hotel shall be protected under the Personal Information Protection Law, and
disclosure, transfer or sales to a third party are prohibited. However, this rule shall not apply to the following
cases as exceptions.

When such disclosure is required by the law or the competent authorities. Our hotel shall be able to use E-mail
addresses registered at our hotel to provide advertisements or notices at our discretion. Ownership of the
photos, sentences and designs used in our web page shall belong to our hotel and unauthorized use thereof is
prohibited. The terms of use herein and relevant content may be changed without notice and we do not have any
obligation to notify such in advance.

9. Hotel patrol by our hotel staff members
Our hotel staff members shall come to your room between 11:00am to 3:00pm for changing sheets, cleaning and supply
replenishment items, unless the guests notify us in advance that such service is not required. We appreciate your
kind understanding.
By-law: These terms of use shall become effective on 1 January, 2016.
